About Us

Shanta Yoga & Amrit Yoga

Shanta Yoga is simply the name of the studio. Shanta means peaceful and we hope that you will make your yoga home in our peaceful studio.

Amrit Yoga is a method of teaching traditional yoga developed by Yogi Amrit Desai, also known as Gurudev. Using very simple principles such as breath, focus and intention, Amrit Yoga not only builds a healthy and strong body, it also helps us bring greater ease and focus to the mind both on and off the mat. Ramdas and Dhruti have both studied personally with Gurudev and are both certified Amrit Yoga Teachers.
