Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra literally means yogic sleep and is a guided meditation practiced while lying down with the eyes closed.

We experience stress when we become attached to how we think our lives should be.  Stress,  whether mental, emotional, or physical, causes resistance to what is truly happening around us.  During Yoga Nidra we relax enough to let go of our everyday stresses and the demands we place upon ourselves so we can begin to view things as they truly are. The practice of Yoga Nidra provides us with the tools we need to transform all that holds us back allowing us to live a more stress-free life.

Yoga Nidra is easy to practice yet profound in impact.  You will begin to feel its benefits in a very short time and experience dramatic shifts in the form of restful sleep, a calm and peaceful mind, a relaxed body and an overall sense of physical and mental well being.  The most difficult aspect of this practice is remaining awake!
